Date night.. my husband and I tried a place we had heard about from a friend. It did not disappoint! Service was quick. Everything was good, especially the Snow Beauty Sake recommendation. We sat outside, which was fine since it the sun had gone down, but my only complaint is the dead flowers that still had the 4.98 Home Depot sticker on them. They could use a refresh. And some light bulbs needed to be replaced.

Absolutely love this place and the BEST sushi ever on the East Coast… –Finally got the Lobster Tempura Rolls back…Yum… You have to try the Chill Scallop Wonton Fry!!! Amazing and every time I order it people ask about it… This place deserves to be on the Food Network and Zagat! Plus you have to come see Colleen… She’s knowledgeable and the BEST!!

Nice place. Came in on a date for a simple sushi and beer. Good place to people watch at the bar seating in the front window. Nice presentation. Sushi was OK. Nigiri was too dry, mostly the rice but also the Saba. For the price, and the demographic in Annapolis, they need to up their game a bit. I will try again, as the service was good, but sushi requires uber freshness. I hope they can hit the mark next time.

Number 1 place. Been coming to see Ping here for 21 years, he's been here for 28. Some of the best sushi I've ever had, and I lived in Japan for over a year. Have had everything on the menu, and it's all excellent. Travel from TX and always schedule a stop in Nap town just for this sushi. Both creative and traditional and always fresh. Try the Maguro Poke. Pictured is sukiyaki and sushi/sashimi.

My wife and I went here for Valentine’s Day and were pleased with the friendly staff at first. Once we were seated and given drinks the waitress didn’t come back over for 20 minutes. My sesame noodle dish with chicken added was flavorless and the chicken tasted off. I had an upset stomach after leaving. My wife got the salmon poke bowl which she expected to have multiple ingredients in it, but was seemingly just a ball of warm raw salmon. Gave the extra star for the friendly wait staff, but my best advise is to not waste your money; go somewhere else.

I truly love Joss and consider it one of my top 3 sushi places around. The food is reliably great, fresh and incredibly tasty. I was shocked when I went recently on a Saturday for lunch and arrived at noon to find it nearly empty. I was thrilled because it's popularity can make getting a table often difficult. The service is equally reliable, friendly and professional. This visit was no different. The server was no nonsense get things done kind of person and it was fantastic. Drinks, food, everything was handled promptly and efficiently. I am a huge fanboy and will be back soon, I hope!

We had a great work event at Joss. Great sushi and we have been going for years. I highly recommend. We got a boatload of sushi and it was quite lovely.
